To All Real Estate Brokers, Authorized Officials and Salespersons

Please note that effective September 1, 2006 significant changes will take effect to The Condominium Act and Regulations. As a result of these changes the statutory offer to purchase form for condominium units will also change. The new form will be required to be used by all real estate salespeople effective September 1, 2006. There will be no grace period that would allow the usage of the old form.

Please advise all salespeople especially those that are involved in condominium sales that they may obtain a supply of the new offer to purchase forms from the Manitoba Real Estate Association.

Also, as a reminder the Mandatory Continuing Education Course (MCE 6) deals extensively with the changes to The Condominium Act and it would be advisable that anyone who markets Condominiums and has not taken the course do so as soon as possible in order to familiarize themselves with the changes.
