The Manitoba Securities Commission ("MSC") is announcing the implementation of the new residential form of offer to purchase effective August 1, 2003. This form can be obtained by clicking here.

In conjunction with the new offer to purchase form coming into effect, the MSC granted an exemption to all Registrants from the requirements of section 21(1) of The Real Estate Brokers Act in preparing the offer to purchase in quadruplicate or quintuplicate form. Please refer to the attached Order No. 2485. This Order was issued on the condition that the Registrants comply with the Electronic Forms Practice Directive (schedule "A" enclosed).

All Registrants are required to follow the guidelines of the Electronic Forms Practice Directive in the completion of offers to purchase by electronic form.

Note: The existing offer to purchase form can still be used for a six-month period ending January 31, 2004.
