Renewal

This section contains general information on renewing registrations issued under The Real Estate Brokers Act and The Mortgage Brokers Act.

Real Estate

Broker and salesperson registrations issued under The Real Estate Brokers Act expire one year from the date they are issued, and applications to renew registration must be filed (with the required fees) no later than 30 days before the existing registration expires.

Authorized official registrations expire (and are renewable) with the broker’s registration.

Visit the Forms or Fees sections for more information on the required documents.

Mortgage Broker

All registrations issued under The Mortgage Brokers Act expire annually on May 31, regardless of when they are issued. Applications to renew registration must be filed (with the required fees) no later than 30 days before the existing registration expires.

Visit the Forms or Fees sections for more information on the required documents.

Online Renewal

Brokers registered under The Real Estate Brokers Act and restricted mortgage brokers may renew their registrations (including those of their authorized officials and salespeople) by using the ROLS online registration system.

To do so, brokers must first obtain an MSC Identification Number (MSC ID) and temporary password. After logging in for the first time, the broker will be prompted to set up a new password. The MSC ID is only to be used by the broker or a person that the broker has designated to process renewals.

To obtain a MSC ID, or for more information, contact realestate@gov.mb.ca.
